Are Vacines supposed to Vacinate?

I ponder this question as I believe my 2 year old has chicken pox.  He was just given half of the vacination at his 2 year check up.  That’s why it’s Sunday and I’m not at church and am on my blog.  I know there is a portion of the disease in the vacine, but I thought it was supposed to be a dead portion.  Well, I guess I’m going to the pediatrician tomorrow.  Yea!  :/

An Ode to the Baby Wipe

Oh Wipe, how do I use thee. Let me count the ways…

Hinies so clean, oh how you make them beam.

Faces and hands clear in  flash, nothing to wash, just throw in the trash.

But oh so much more, you assist in cleaning the floor.

With nary a rip, you helped wipe up that unmentionable drip.

Glue, paint, and marker; through it all you do not falter.

Keep up the fight and stay up beat, while you help keep my children and house neat.

She had the baby!!!

Saturday night my friend finally had her baby.  She and her husband dropped off their two kids at 9:05, got to the hospital at 9:15, and she had the baby at 9:51.  Her husband made the comment to her “You don’t even look tired.”  To which she replied, “I’m not. It’s only 10 o’clock.”  She’s my new hero for a while.  They had a healthy 8 pounds 8 ounces, 22 inches long, bouncing baby boy.  Yesterday was my last day watching the four kids, so now I only have my two and am recovering nicely.  I do need a day to recover then I’m going to go into super mode because one sister and one brother are coming down to visit us for Labor Day Weekend.  Then on the 10th Tank turns 2, and we’re trying to have a party for him the following Saturday at the park where our friends can come.  And it’s a themed party…………PIRATES!!!!!!!
