Are Vacines supposed to Vacinate?

I ponder this question as I believe my 2 year old has chicken pox.  He was just given half of the vacination at his 2 year check up.  That’s why it’s Sunday and I’m not at church and am on my blog.  I know there is a portion of the disease in the vacine, but I thought it was supposed to be a dead portion.  Well, I guess I’m going to the pediatrician tomorrow.  Yea!  :/

    How did that work out?

Monday morning I was the first to call into the doctor’s office at 8:05, just after the phones open. At ten o’clock I called back to see if the triage nurse got my message. She had and I was the next on her list to call back. ??? I know I was the first one to call. Anyway, when the nurse did call back, she said yes, it is chicken pox, but he’s not contageous and it will only last a couple of days. Good. So at this point I’m not sure if I’m going to have him get the other shot to vacinate, but I have a while to decide.

There is obviously a lot to know about this. There are some good points here.
